Welcome to the ninth edition
of the C6 Zine. The publication
of this edition is to coincide
with a re-design of the C6 web
site www.c6.org, and the launch
of Binary Monkey "online ascii
jam". Launched on the 18th of
September at the I.C.A.
This year C6 have been very
active, being commissioned by
Hayvend and the arts council
for an interactive cross platform
floppy disc. Soon to be dispensed
from the new hayvend floppy vend-
ing machines around the U.K.

C6 has been busy outside of the
U.K. taking part in a series of
events in Norway with the Hotwired
Live Electronic resistance Network
Party Plan. in both Bergan at new
year and at Momentum the nordic
contemporary art binale.
In June this year C6 exhibited
a showcase of video works at the
Lux Gallery in hoxton square,
c6 collaborators from as far as
norway and america submitted work
which was projected onto the
windows of the Hoxton gallery,
providing a free spectacle for
those drinking late into the
evening in the square below.
Both the Lux and the I.C.A events
where sponsored by tangozebra
whose kind and unrestrictive
support has enabled C6 to reach a
larger and stranger dressed audience.

The views expressed in this zine are
those of the contributors, and are not
necessarily the views of C6.
What is on our minds is not always
fit to publish.

"C6 is not interested in dry fine art critics. We are fighting against misery,
but we are also fighting against alienation. One of the fundamental objectives
of C6 is to remove disinterest, the factors of individual disinterest, and gain,
from men's psychological motivations. C6 is not preoccupied with
economic factors or with their repercussions on the spirit. If you aren't
interested in this too, you may be a method of distributing art,
but it will never have a revolutionary way of life."

New events both online and off
are planned for the rest of this
year and into 2001. C6 would like
to thank all its supporters and
friends for the help and contributions
to it's collective power.
You know who you are.
